Job Summary
As the Team Lead for Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Garching, you will manage a team of approximately 15 staff members overseeing electrical, telecommunications, building automation, and lecture hall technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the client representative for construction projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements, and coordinating the maintenance and inspection of critical infrastructure such as medium-voltage networks, backup power systems, and data infrastructure. This role is unique as it offers the opportunity to work within a prestigious excellence university, contributing to the digitalization of operational processes while ensuring the highest standards of facility infrastructure. You will serve as a key interface between various technical departments, requiring strong organizational and negotiation skills to manage complex projects and team dynamics effectively.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Dipl.-Ing. FH or Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering and infrastructure management
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams
- Experience in handling large-scale power generation and distribution networks
- Experience with CAD software and CAFM systems

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Location: Garching, Germany. Position is permanent and full-time.
