Job Summary
As a Master Electrician, you will play a pivotal role in the building management department of the public sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting facility inspections, documenting and analyzing electrical defects, and overseeing building maintenance planning. You will be responsible for creating service specifications, managing tender processes, and supervising the execution, acceptance, and billing of maintenance work. Additionally, you will lead the planning and implementation of photovoltaic systems, drive energy efficiency projects, and ensure compliance through regular electrical safety checks (E-Checks). You will also provide expert technical advice to on-site facility staff. This role is ideal for a qualified professional looking to make a meaningful impact on public infrastructure, such as schools and childcare facilities, within a stable, permanent position in the public service sector.
Required Skills
Education
Completed certification as a Master Electrician (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering and building maintenance
- Experience in the public sector real estate environment, specifically school and daycare construction
- Experience in public procurement law and tender processes

- Must possess C1-level German proficiency in spoken and written form. The position is based in Norderstedt and is compatible with part-time arrangements. Applicants must be prepared for building inspections and site supervision.
