Job Summary
The Municipality of Wiefelstede is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join their Community Development department. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of maintenance projects for municipal infrastructure, including roads, paths, sports facilities, playgrounds, and rainwater drainage systems. Your day-to-day duties will involve preparing tenders, overseeing project execution, monitoring progress, and handling billing processes. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing traffic safety matters, handling damage reports, and providing administrative support for municipal meetings. Required Skills
Education

Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering or construction technology
- Experience in tender and procurement processes is considered an advantage
- Experience in applying water and road legislation is considered an advantage
Languages
Additional
- Must hold a qualification as a state-certified technician or equivalent. Proficiency in German (minimum B2 level) is required. Knowledge of German procurement, water, and road law is advantageous. The role is based in Wiefelstede, Germany.
