Job Summary

As a Student Assistant in IT Support and Service Desk at the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering ISST, you will play a vital role in maintaining a stable and secure IT environment for cutting-edge research. You will serve as the primary point of contact for staff, resolving technical issues, and managing the maintenance of Linux and Windows workstations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include installing and configuring software and operating systems, managing cloud and remote environments, and assisting with server infrastructure maintenance. The position requires a student currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT Management, or a related field, with a strong interest in system administration and troubleshooting.
