Job Summary

The State Criminal Police Office (LKA) of Schleswig-Holstein is seeking an IT Specialist to join the Central Internet Research (ZIR) unit. This role focuses on supporting criminal investigations through open-source intelligence (OSINT), monitoring social media platforms, and analyzing digital evidence, including cryptocurrencies. Beyond investigative support, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of specialized software tools and infrastructure used for research and data analysis. The position involves collaborating with national agencies like the BKA, automating workflows, and ensuring forensic data integrity. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker).

Experience

  • Experience in data analysis and forensic data handling
