The eGovernment Officer will play a pivotal role in the digitalization of public administration within the Meißen district. The primary responsibilities include implementing the VIS document management system across various departments, which involves process analysis and optimization using BPMN, defining functional requirements, and managing test phases. You will lead or support organizational projects, coordinate with different departments, and ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions. Additionally, you will provide user support, conduct training sessions, and maintain existing eGovernment solutions such as data exchange platforms and electronic invoicing systems. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration (VWA/BA), Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or completion of the 'Angestelltenlehrgang II' (Administrative Specialist/Municipal Specialist certification).

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration or administrative business management
  • Experience in business process management and process optimization
  • Experience in IT project management is highly desirable
  • Experience in providing user training and creating instructional documentation
