Job Summary

As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), you will join the High Energy Density Initiative (HEDI) team in Rostock. Your primary responsibility involves conducting ab-initio simulations for materials such as Al, Cu, and Si under high energy density conditions. You will develop specialized analysis tools, apply machine learning techniques to complex datasets, and contribute to the planning and execution of experiments at the European XFEL. Beyond technical research, you will be responsible for publishing scientific findings, conducting literature reviews, and mentoring students and research assistants.
