Job Summary

This role within the Infrastructure and Transport department of the Salzburg regional government involves acting as a technical expert to ensure the safety and compliance of electrical installations across the region. Day-to-day, you will participate in administrative proceedings related to construction, energy, and transport laws, evaluating systems such as high/low voltage installations, photovoltaic systems, battery storage, and lightning protection. You will also conduct field inspections of power plants, machinery, and transport-related infrastructure, including railways and cable cars. The position requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering and the ability to communicate effectively in regulatory settings. Required Skills

Education

Successful completion of a Higher Technical Institute (HTL) diploma in Electrical Engineering OR a university/university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of electrical installations (e.g., planning, construction, or testing)
  • Experience in technical assessment or regulatory environments is highly valued
