Job Summary

As an Ultra High-Field (UHF) MRI Onsite Collaboration Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Siemens Healthineers and research partners. Based at a partner institution in Frankfurt, you will coordinate and drive joint research activities centered on cutting-edge 7-Tesla MRI technology. Your day-to-day will involve planning and executing research projects, supporting the development of novel imaging sequences and reconstruction techniques, and validating technical concepts for future product integration. You will act as a key communicator between the research site and the global UHF innovation team in Erlangen. This role requires a strong background in MR physics and a passion for medical innovation. The position is ideal for a collaborative researcher with a track record of academic excellence who thrives in an interdisciplinary environment and is eager to shape the future of medical imaging through high-impact, collaborative research.

Required Skills

Education

PhD in MR Physics, Medical Informatics, Signal or Image Processing, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • PhD degree in MR Physics, Medical Informatics, Signal/Image Processing, Biomedical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Academic experience in MR physics, sequence development, and image reconstruction
  • Significant publication record in peer-reviewed international scientific journals
  • Experience in designing and conducting research studies
