Job Summary

The Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz is seeking a Chemical Technical Assistant to support the research group of Prof. Golo Storch. In this full-time, permanent role, you will play a central role in the daily operation of the organic chemistry laboratory. Your responsibilities include performing organic synthesis, operating and maintaining advanced analytical equipment such as chromatography systems (HPLC, GC) and spectrometers, and managing laboratory procurement and inventory. You will also act as a key advisor to staff regarding device usage, safety protocols, and hazardous material handling.
