Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer in the chemical industry, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining electrical systems for complex industrial plants. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating detailed circuit diagrams and switch cabinet layout plans, performing technical calculations for AC/DC circuits, and managing heat dissipation and climate control for electrical enclosures. You will be responsible for component selection, maintaining bills of materials within SAP, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including mechanical design, instrumentation, and technical documentation. This role requires a high degree of technical precision, as you will handle 'as-built' revisions, risk assessments, and issue management based on production feedback.
