Job Summary
This role involves serving as a Water Protection Officer for the Autobahn GmbH in Regensburg, focusing on the maintenance, inspection, and regulatory compliance of road drainage and rainwater treatment systems. The successful candidate will oversee operational and structural maintenance, ensure adherence to water protection laws (WHG), and manage the tendering process for sanitation and cleaning services. You will act as a key advisor to operational staff, coordinate with water authorities regarding discharge permits, and manage technical documentation for rainwater treatment facilities. Required Skills
Education
Completed Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with a focus on Hydraulic Engineering/Water Management, or equivalent qualification gained through professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in water protection or water management
- Experience in road drainage systems and environmental engineering
- Experience with German administrative regulations and public procurement laws (e.g., VOB, VgV, HOAI)
- Experience in managing relationships with administrative bodies and local authorities
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required; willingness to travel for site inspections using a company vehicle.
