Job Summary

The Office for Sport in Leipzig is seeking a technical professional to manage building and investment projects on a part-time basis (19 hours/week) until December 31, 2027. In this role, you will be responsible for the structural implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive, including the planning and oversight of sewage system renovations and small-scale wastewater treatment plants. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with legal standards on leased sports facilities, focusing on drinking water regulations and the inspection of electrical building equipment. You will also manage grant-funded construction and building service projects. This position is ideal for a structured, independent worker who enjoys combining technical oversight with administrative tasks. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfte/-r Techniker/-in) in Water Supply Engineering, HVAC, Sanitary Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the maintenance and management of building service systems
  • Knowledge of EU water legislation and drinking water regulations

  • Valid Class B driver's license is desirable. Must possess a valid work permit for Germany. Position is limited until December 31, 2027.
