Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the system design and specification of complex reflector antenna systems operating at frequencies exceeding 100 GHz. Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating system specifications, developing documentation, and performing laboratory setups for transmission and reception chains using coaxial and waveguide technology. You will collaborate with external partners on component selection and work closely with internal automation and electrical teams. A key aspect of this position is the global commissioning and testing of systems on-site, making it an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys hands-on work and international travel. The position is unique because it offers a collaborative team environment where technical curiosity and the ability to quickly master complex new subject matter are valued over pre-existing expertise in antenna systems. You will work on cutting-edge technology in a constructive atmosphere, contributing to the development of high-performance products for a global client base.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications or High-Frequency Technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical or telecommunications engineering
  • Practical experience with high-frequency measurement technology is desirable
  • Experience with waveguide technology is considered an advantage
  • Ability to work in a structured, hands-on manner within a team environment
