Job Summary

As a Service Technician at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), you will play a vital role in maintaining the infrastructure of one of Europe's most modern hospitals. Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting inspections, performing maintenance, and executing repairs across a vast campus of over 90 buildings. You will perform DGUV V3 safety testing, maintain emergency lighting and nurse call systems, and service small refrigeration units. You will also handle minor electrical installations and troubleshooting, while acting as a primary point of contact for clients and external service providers. This role requires a structured, reliable approach to work and participation in an on-call rotation. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Electrician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Experience in performing inspections and electrical safety testing
  • Proven ability to handle troubleshooting and fault analysis in a technical environment
