Job Summary
As an Electrical Service Technician at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), you will be responsible for the operational maintenance and safety of one of Europe’s most modern clinical facilities. Your daily activities involve conducting inspections, performing maintenance tasks, and executing DGUV Regulation 3 safety tests across a 34-hectare campus. You will handle specialized systems including emergency lighting, nurse call systems, and small-scale refrigeration units. The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, fault analysis, and small installation projects while serving as a key point of contact for customers and external service providers. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Electrician, or a comparable electrical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy and building technology or electronics for devices and systems
- Experience in performing inspections, maintenance, and fault analysis
- Experience in executing safety tests according to DGUV V3 standards
- Experience in coordinating with customers and external service providers
- Demonstrated ability in structured and cost-oriented work practices

Additional
- Proof of full measles immunity is mandatory before starting employment. Participation in the on-call standby rotation is required. The role is based permanently in Hamburg with no travel/assembly work required.
