Job Summary

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer at DB Projekt Stuttgart-Ulm GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in the Gäubahn infrastructure project. Your primary responsibilities include managing the planning and execution phases for telecommunications and 50Hz power systems within an alliance model. You will act as the key point of contact for these technical disciplines, coordinating with construction teams, equipment specialists, and external partners. Your day-to-day work involves reviewing technical documentation, managing project interfaces, securing necessary permits, and ensuring that project milestones, budget, and quality standards are strictly met. This position is unique as it places you at the heart of Germany's major rail infrastructure developments, requiring a blend of technical expertise and strong stakeholder management. You will be expected to work independently, solve complex project challenges, and maintain a focus on cost-effective, high-quality delivery within a collaborative, large-scale engineering environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable field; alternatively, a state-certified Electrical Master's degree (Elektromeister) with exceptional performance.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the execution of 50Hz and/or telecommunications projects
  • Professional experience in the development of infrastructure projects is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in applying relevant technical standards and regulations

Languages

German (Basic)

Additional

  • Knowledge of railway-specific guidelines and VV Bau-STE is highly desirable. Must demonstrate cost-oriented thinking and a solution-driven mindset.
