Job Summary

The City of Frankfurt (Oder) is seeking a proactive and responsible Digital Transformation Officer to spearhead its digital development. This role involves advising the administrative leadership on all aspects of administrative digitalization, acting as the central point of contact for digital transformation processes, and coordinating the implementation of the Online Access Act. The successful candidate will lead the holistic development towards a digital administration, manage all digitalization projects, and foster innovation within the public sector. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma (FH)) in Administrative Management, Digital Business Management, E-Government, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, Administrative Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field; or recognized qualification for higher administrative service (e.g., Administrative Specialist, Administrative Business Economist, or Angestelltenlehrgang II).

Experience

  • Professional experience in advising leadership on administrative digitalization
  • Experience as a central point of contact for digitalization of administrative processes
  • Experience in coordinating and bundling digitalization activities (e.g., e-files, OZG, DMS)
  • Experience in project management, including selection, prioritization, and controlling of projects
  • Experience in standardizing project management methods and processes
  • Experience in internal and external interface management
