Job Summary

As an Expert Project Manager focusing on Sustainability at the IT System House of the Federal Employment Agency, you will act as the central point of contact for Green IT and sustainability initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Energy Efficiency Act, managing the implementation of the Green IT strategy, and coordinating projects from conception to completion. You will oversee resource allocation, risk management, and budget adherence while developing reporting systems, such as CO2 dashboards. Furthermore, you will drive the certification of IT infrastructure under EMAS and Blue Angel standards and foster a Green IT community to engage employees. This role is unique because it allows you to directly shape the ecological transformation of one of Germany's largest IT landscapes, contributing to the goal of a climate-neutral organization by 2030, while offering a flexible work environment with up to 80% remote work options.

Required Skills

Education

University degree or equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in project management or relevant professional fields
  • Professional experience in sustainability or Green IT initiatives
  • Experience in coordinating IT infrastructure projects or organizational change management
