Job Summary

As a Senior Systems Engineer at the IT System House of the Federal Employment Agency (BA), you will play a pivotal role in maintaining one of Germany's largest IT landscapes. Working within an agile DevSecOps environment, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of secure, scalable online applications, specifically focusing on Online Identity and Access Management (OIAM). Your daily activities will include developing backend components with Java/Spring Boot and frontend elements with Angular, managing containerized applications on Kubernetes, and making critical architectural decisions. Required Skills

Education

University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Computer Science or Business Informatics.

Experience

Several years of relevant professional experience in IT systems engineering or software development
Extensive experience in the development and operation of software solutions and infrastructures
Proven experience in troubleshooting complex software and infrastructure issues
Professional experience with Java-based backend development and modern frontend frameworks
Experience working in agile environments using DevSecOps methodologies
Experience with containerization and cloud-native application management
