Job Summary

As a Senior Systems Engineer at the IT System House of the Federal Employment Agency (BA), you will play a pivotal role in maintaining one of Germany's largest IT landscapes. Working within an agile DevSecOps environment, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of secure, scalable online applications, specifically focusing on Online Identity and Access Management (OIAM). Your daily activities will include developing backend components with Java/Spring Boot and frontend elements with Angular, managing containerized applications on Kubernetes, and making critical architectural decisions. Experience

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting complex software and infrastructure issues
  • Professional experience with Java-based backend development and modern frontend frameworks
  • Experience working in agile environments using DevSecOps methodologies
  • Experience with containerization and cloud-native application management
