Job Summary

As a Laboratory Engineer in Electrochemistry, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an electrochemical laboratory. Your day-to-day tasks involve preparing and analyzing redox-active electrolytes, setting up and maintaining Redox-Flow battery test cells, and conducting complex electrochemical measurements such as EIS and polarization studies. You will ensure data integrity through structured documentation and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Furthermore, you will play a key role in analyzing degradation mechanisms and supporting the performance evaluation of electrochemical systems. This position requires a solid background in chemical or electrochemical engineering and hands-on experience in a laboratory setting. You will work in a collaborative environment, providing technical guidance to students and staff. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to apply analytical skills to advance battery technology within a stable, long-term engineering consultancy environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a technician or a university degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • > 3 years of practical experience in a chemical or electrochemical laboratory environment
  • Professional experience in electrochemical measurement techniques and instrumentation
  • Experience in developing and maintaining standard laboratory operating procedures (SOPs)
