Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Materials Tester specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for a client in the greater Duisburg area. In this role, you will perform mechanical-technological tests, prepare and evaluate metallographic cross-sections, and analyze materials. You will be responsible for documenting test results and supporting customer acceptance. The ideal candidate will have completed training as a materials tester or possess a comparable qualification in materials science, with professional experience in materials testing being advantageous. Experience with NDT methods like VT, PT, MT, and/or UT is highly desirable, ideally with current certifications. A driver's license class B is also required. Education
Completed training as a Materials Tester, degree in Materials Science, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in materials testing is advantageous
- Experience with NDT methods VT, PT, MT, and/or UT
- Experience with metallic materials (steels, stainless steel)
- Knowledge of standards (DIN, EN, ISO, ASTM, VdTÜV) is desirable
