Job Summary

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in evolving the corporate reporting landscape at FERCHAU's headquarters in Gummersbach. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the technical development and maintenance of tools integrated with ERP, CRM, and ESM systems, as well as managing the end-to-end lifecycle of BI systems. You will be responsible for data transformation, ensuring high data quality, and optimizing the underlying reporting infrastructure. This role involves providing 3rd-level support and collaborating closely with various departments to standardize data processes. Requirements include a strong background in data engineering, proficiency with the Microsoft ecosystem (Power BI, PowerApps, T-SQL), and experience with enterprise systems like SAP or Salesforce. This position is unique because it is an in-house role with no travel requirements, offering a collaborative environment, professional development through the FERCHAU Academy, and the autonomy to shape internal data strategies from day one.
