Job Summary

The City of Würzburg is seeking an IT Security Officer to join the Office for Civil and Fire Protection. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for steering and monitoring IT security processes within the integrated control center. Your primary focus will be the development and implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and guiding the organization through ISO 27001 certification. You will coordinate the creation of security concepts, oversee the implementation of security measures, and manage data backup optimization. Additionally, you will analyze security-related incidents to develop preventative strategies and support various security projects. This position requires a proactive approach to time management and a high degree of resilience, as you will work in a dynamic environment that may require flexibility outside standard office hours. You will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, making strong communication and conflict resolution skills essential.
