This full-time, permanent role with the City of Würzburg involves managing the lifecycle of technical building systems across municipal properties. As an HVAC and Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, tendering, and construction supervision of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in accordance with HOAI standards. Your day-to-day will involve technical project management for new builds and renovations, quality assurance of external planning services, and the optimization of existing systems to improve energy efficiency. Required Skills

Education

University degree [Dipl. Ing. (FH) or B. Eng.] in Supply Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, or Technical Building Equipment.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning and implementation of technical building systems according to HOAI.
  • Experience in technical project management for new construction, general renovation, and maintenance measures.
  • Proven track record in coordinating external planning offices and specialist contractors.
  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating plant concepts regarding sustainability and economic efficiency.
