Job Summary

As a Deputy Technical Lead within the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), you will play a critical role in supporting operative investigations by monitoring and analyzing compromised network infrastructures. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and administering complex, secure network environments, developing specialized surveillance tools, and providing technical leadership to your team. You will act as a key advisor to investigators and decision-makers, contributing directly to high-stakes investigations into organized crime and cybercrime. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in a STEM field with an IT focus, OR completed vocational training in IT with at least 3-6 years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT network architecture and security standards.
  • 3-6 years of professional experience in an IT-related field (depending on educational background).
  • Practical experience in Linux system administration and network tool usage.
  • Experience in project coordination and technical guidance of staff.
