Job Summary

As a Thin-Film Development Engineer based in Brandenburg an der Havel, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our perovskite and tandem solar cell technologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing and refining manufacturing processes, leading projects to scale technology from laboratory settings to full-scale production, and optimizing solar cell performance. You will manage the lifecycle of new production equipment, which includes planning and executing experiments, performing root cause analysis, and integrating new processes while maintaining rigorous safety and quality documentation. This position is ideal for an engineer with a background in physics, chemistry, or materials science who is passionate about renewable energy innovation. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in thin-film materials, deposition, and characterization
  • Experience in manufacturing, statistical process control, and automated production systems, ideally in the solar or semiconductor industry
  • Experience in project management and technical conceptualization
