Job Summary

As a Thin-Film Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the manufacturing processes for perovskite and tandem solar cells. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading and contributing to projects that bridge the gap between laboratory research and industrial production. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of new production equipment, which includes process optimization, conducting and analyzing experiments, performing root cause analysis, and integrating new technologies into the production line. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining essential safety and quality documentation. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in physics, chemistry, or materials science who thrives on technical problem-solving and process development. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in thin-film material processing, deposition, and characterization.
  • Experience in manufacturing and working with automated production equipment, preferably in the solar or semiconductor industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including technology transfer from lab to production environments.
