Job Summary

As a Scientist within the Quantum Pilot Line, you will focus on the development of integrated platforms for quantum information processing. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve designing and laying out analog/mixed-signal (AMS) integrated circuits, including building blocks such as LDOs, bandgaps, DACs, and ADCs. You will perform hands-on lab characterization using advanced measurement equipment and lead research projects, including the publication of scientific papers and patents. Beyond technical design, you will represent the organization at international conferences, manage project acquisitions, and mentor junior staff. This role is ideal for a research-oriented professional looking to work in a state-of-the-art, collaborative environment. You will need a PhD in Electrical Engineering, proficiency in circuit design tools, and experience with FPGA design and HDL coding. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to next-generation quantum system-on-chip solutions while working in a multicultural, research-driven setting in Villach, Austria.
