This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the curriculum at the newly established Medical University Lausitz – Carl Thiem. As a Science Manager and Trainer, you will be responsible for the conceptual design, structure, and implementation of the 'Communication, Professional Dialogue, and Interprofessional Work' training program for medical students. You will work closely with faculty to integrate clinical and communication skills, develop practical examination formats, and design training programs for future instructors. A key aspect of the role involves coordinating interprofessional education and managing simulations with trained actors. This position is ideal for an experienced professional in medicine, psychology, or health sciences who is passionate about medical didactics and curriculum development. You will play a foundational role in preparing the next generation of medical professionals in an innovative, research-driven environment that emphasizes digital medicine and interprofessional collaboration.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Medicine, Psychology, Health Sciences, Linguistics, or related disciplines.

Experience

  • Professional experience in teaching or academic instruction
  • Professional experience in the coordination and organization of academic programs or leadership functions
  • Experience in the development and implementation of medical curricula
  • Experience in teaching or examinations involving simulation persons is desirable
