This role involves working within the Office for Building Law and Environment (Water Authority) to ensure sustainable water management and groundwater protection. Day-to-day, you will provide technical assessments for groundwater extraction, discharge, and geothermal energy systems, such as heat pumps and probes. You will also handle aid processing for municipal water supplies, monitor funded measures, and participate in water inspections alongside the health department. A unique aspect of this position is the responsibility for emergency response, including on-call duties for accidents involving water-polluting substances.
