Job Summary

As an Electrical Technician or Master Electrician for Offshore Substations, you will play a critical role in Germany's energy transition by ensuring the operational reliability of offshore grid connections. Your daily responsibilities include the maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of high-voltage and auxiliary systems both onshore and offshore. You will act as an equipment manager, performing switching operations, supervising construction, and conducting complex functional tests during commissioning. This position is ideal for those who enjoy a technically demanding environment surrounded by the sea and weather. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all work meets strict safety and environmental standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed Master's (Meister) or Technician's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Marine Engineering; alternatively, relevant vocational training with a willingness to qualify further.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of electrical engineering
  • Experience in maintenance and inspection of high-voltage or auxiliary systems
  • Experience in offshore environments or high-voltage grid systems (preferred)
  • Experience with technical and commercial order processing for maintenance
  • Experience in leading technical training or safety briefings

Additional

  • Physical fitness for offshore work (G41/offshore medical) is mandatory. Valid driver's license (Class B/Passenger Car) required. Willingness to travel to offshore locations and onshore substations in Greifswald and Rostock-Warnemünde.
