As a Java Developer specializing in IT Security, you will analyze organizational security guidelines and translate them into actionable coding standards and implementation examples for various development teams. Your day-to-day will include providing expert consultancy to technical teams, advancing the secure software development lifecycle (S-SDLC) through static code analysis and threat modeling, and ensuring code quality. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or Diploma) in IT, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., IT Specialist/Fachwirt), or vocational training in IT combined with several years of relevant practical experience.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT, specifically within Java development and IT security
  • Proven experience in developing complex applications based on Java EE
  • Professional experience in analyzing and implementing organizational IT security requirements
  • Experience with security-focused development processes such as threat modeling and code analysis
  • Previous experience as a Security Champion or similar role is highly desirable
