Job Summary

This role is part of the 'Cardio-Oncology Campus for Precision Medicine' at the Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences, focusing on biomarker profiles to assess cardiovascular risks in cancer therapy. As a PhD Student in the Bioimaging group, you will conduct 3D imaging using confocal laser scanning and light-sheet fluorescence microscopy, alongside mass spectrometry techniques like MALDI MSI and LC-MS to identify metabolite and protein profiles in murine tissue. The position offers a highly interdisciplinary environment, combining biology, chemistry, and medicine to advance personalized therapy. You will be responsible for data visualization, laboratory documentation, and collaborating with project partners. Required Skills

Education

Master of Science or Diploma in a natural science field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or equivalent qualification (e.g., Pharmacy, Food Technology).

Experience

  • Professional experience in a laboratory environment, specifically in bioanalytics, imaging, or immunology
  • Practical knowledge in mass spectrometry and/or microscopy techniques
  • Experience in interdisciplinary scientific research and collaborative project work
