Job Summary

This doctoral position is part of the Leibniz ScienceCampus 'Cardio-Oncology Campus for Precision Medicine' at the ISAS Department of Bioanalytics. The successful candidate will focus on analyzing and developing biomarker profiles to assess cardiovascular risks associated with cancer therapies. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing proteomics analyses on blood, plasma, and tissue samples from melanoma and other cancer patients, as well as developing bioanalytical assays for protein-based biomarker screening. You will be tasked with validating biomarker panels, documenting laboratory work, and presenting results to project partners. Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree (M.Sc.) or Diploma in a natural science field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or comparable qualification (e.g., Pharmacy, Food Technology).

Experience

  • Professional experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in bioanalytics, imaging, or immunology
  • Practical knowledge in mass spectrometry and/or microscopy
  • Experience in interdisciplinary scientific research and collaborative project work
  • Proven experience in data evaluation and presentation of scientific results
