Job Summary

This part-time position (10 hours/week) involves supporting a nationwide conservation project focused on wind power sensitive forest bats for NABU Lower Saxony in Hanover. You will play a vital role in project administration, focusing on financial controlling, accounting, and cost planning according to TVöD E11/2 standards. Beyond the administrative scope, you will assist in biological data evaluation, specifically analyzing bat calls recorded during field surveys. The role also encompasses organizing events, managing contract awards, and conducting training sessions. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional passionate about environmental protection who enjoys a mix of organizational management and practical conservation science. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master's or Diploma) in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Planning, or a Commercial/Business qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management or project controlling
  • Experience in the collection and evaluation of bat data is preferred
  • Experience in planning and implementing professional events
  • Experience working within non-profit organizations is ideal
  • Proven track record in financial reporting and cost monitoring
