Job Summary

This role involves the independent commissioning and functional testing of complex electromechanical, electronic, and optical systems within the specialized vehicle construction sector, specifically for the defense and security industry. Based in Kassel, you will work in a high-responsibility environment ensuring the functionality of safety-critical technologies. Day-to-day tasks include organizing commissioning steps, identifying and analyzing faults in highly networked mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and documenting measurement results. You will collaborate closely with development teams, testing laboratories, and suppliers to ensure successful system integration. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician, supplemented by further qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics, ideally with a focus on measurement and control technology
  • Experience in the commissioning of complex systems and the use of measurement/testing technology is advantageous
  • Experience in organizing commissioning sequences and prioritizing testing steps independently
  • Experience in fault identification and analysis in highly networked technical environments
