As an Embedded Linux Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, integration, and advancement of Vetronics systems on Linux-based platforms, specifically Debian. Your daily tasks will involve implementing modern vehicle IT architectures, developing software for distributed embedded systems, and networking military subsystems through various communication interfaces. A significant portion of the role focuses on creating Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) using Qt and QML, ensuring the production of robust, maintainable code through documentation and unit testing. You will also collaborate on defining software and system architectures and support ergonomics studies for display concepts. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience with Linux build systems and debugging tools.
  • Experience in object-oriented design and programming.
  • Background in connecting hardware and communication interfaces like CAN-Bus or IP-Sockets is preferred.
