Job Summary
As a Hazardous Materials Officer at the University of Würzburg, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and legally compliant working environment for over 30,000 students and staff. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing the university-wide handling of hazardous substances, drafting operating instructions, and advising university leadership on occupational health and safety. You will manage complex permit processes, coordinate with regulatory authorities, and serve as the central authorized representative for radiation protection. Required Skills
Education

Experience
- Professional experience in occupational health and safety and the handling of hazardous and biological materials.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing protective measures.
- Proven experience in handling databases.
- Experience in coordinating with regulatory and supervisory authorities.
- Experience in managing legal permit processes and administrative oversight.
