Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Saxon State Ministry of Finance in the digital transformation of its central ERP system, HKR.SAX. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end analysis and documentation of 'as-is' processes within procurement, logistics, and asset accounting. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating requirements workshops, and modeling 'to-be' digital processes using the PICTURE platform. You will bridge the gap between functional needs and technical implementation by creating detailed requirement descriptions for system architects and managing the requirements backlog. This position is particularly attractive for those looking to influence the modernization of public administration within a secure, high-level state authority. The role offers a collaborative environment in a multidisciplinary team of experts, focusing on achieving a high degree of automation in a modern IT ecosystem based on SAP S/4HANA and Pegasystems.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor, Diploma, or equivalent) in Business Informatics, Economics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Administrative Sciences.

Experience

  • Professional experience in process analysis and documentation within procurement, logistics, or asset accounting
  • Experience in requirements management, including conducting workshops and managing backlogs
  • Experience in the public sector is preferred
  • Practical experience with the PICTURE process platform is an advantage
  • Experience with public sector budgetary and accounting systems is beneficial

  • Fixed-term contract until December 31, 2028. Location: Dresden. Requires German language proficiency at level B2 or higher. Foreign degrees must have official German translation and recognition/equivalence verification (ZAB).
