As an IT Support Specialist at the Saxon State Ministry of Finance, you will play a vital role in maintaining the IT infrastructure for approximately 400 employees. Your daily responsibilities include managing a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), overseeing the User Help Desk for 1st-level support, and administering mobile devices through MDM/EMM systems. You will also be responsible for IT monitoring, maintaining network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN), and supporting specialized software applications, including basic scripting. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Proven technical experience with VDI environments and network infrastructure
  • 5 years of professional experience in IT support required if no formal IT vocational degree is held
  • Experience in inventory management and software administration
  • Experience in hardware setup and user training
