Job Summary

As a Test Field Technician in Schwerin, you will play a critical role in the quality assurance of cable manufacturing. Your daily responsibilities involve preparing cable drums for testing, recording and comparing length data, and performing precise electrical measurements, including conductor and insulation resistance testing. You will also be responsible for partial discharge (TE) testing and electrical fault location. Beyond technical measurements, you will handle sample extraction for analysis, document results in test lists, and prepare products for final release by sealing ends and packaging drums. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a background in electrical engineering who enjoy a mix of technical analysis and hands-on logistics.
