Job Summary

As a Transformer Technician at Stromnetz Berlin, you will play a critical role in maintaining, expanding, and modernizing Berlin's 36,000-kilometer power grid. Working within the Primary Technology department, your day-to-day responsibilities involve coordinating technical and commercial interfaces, organizing annual and monthly maintenance planning, and ensuring all work documentation complies with legal and internal safety regulations. You will manage material requests, oversee employee training qualifications, and track the resolution of technical defects. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational technical training plus further qualification as a Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker), Master Tradesperson (Meister), or Business Specialist (Fachwirt).

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in field service roles, specifically within electrical or grid environments
  • Proven experience in the planning, coordination, and communication of cross-departmental technical projects
  • Professional experience in maintenance management and defect tracking
  • Experience with power transformers, coils, and converters is preferred but not mandatory
