As a Civil Engineer for the city of Hannover, you will take on a vital role in environmental and climate protection by managing large-scale sewer and manhole rehabilitation projects with investment responsibility up to €5 million. Your day-to-day work involves the coordination, planning, and tendering of rehabilitation measures, alongside the technical assessment of sewer conditions using advanced methods like CCTV inspections, site visits, and drone surveys. You will be responsible for evaluating damage and determining the most effective repair methods for large-profile sewers (DN 1200 and above). Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of closed-trench sewer rehabilitation is preferred
  • Experience in planning, organization, and supervision of construction measures
  • Experience in investment management and budget responsibility up to €5 million
  • Experience in evaluating technical inspection results for large-scale infrastructure

  • Valid Class B (formerly Class 3) driver's license required. Physical ability to traverse rough terrain and occasionally enter underground structures is mandatory. Must be able to perform duties reliably in German.
