Job Summary
As a (Senior) IT Technician at one of Germany's largest IT service providers, you will play a critical role in supporting Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) clients through 1st and 2nd-level remote support. Operating in a fully remote capacity, your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues across clients, servers, networks, and cloud services. You will manage user permissions via Active Directory and Microsoft 365, implement standard changes, and handle patch management to ensure system stability. This position is ideal for those who enjoy technical variety, as you will interact with diverse industries ranging from healthcare and education to manufacturing and legal sectors. By efficiently resolving tickets and maintaining detailed documentation, you serve as a vital link between background administration and on-site field services, ensuring high-quality IT operations for a broad customer base.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in system operations, IT support, or IT infrastructure environments
- Experience in 1st and 2nd level technical support

- Experience supporting SMB/KMU client environments across various industries
