Job Summary

As a Laboratory Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development and testing of fire stop materials. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve preparing chemical formulations, supporting recipe development, and conducting analytical characterization using both standard and specialized measurements. You will be responsible for creating prototypes for large-scale testing, ensuring their proper installation, and meticulously documenting all findings within ELN/LIMS systems. This role requires a high degree of self-organization and a strict adherence to chemical safety regulations. Required Skills

Education

Apprenticeship in a chemical-related field or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a similar discipline.

Experience

  • Professional experience in chemical laboratories is preferred but optional
  • Experience in the preparation and installation of prototypes for large-scale testing
  • Background in analytical measurement techniques and laboratory operations
  • Experience in documenting technical work within digital laboratory management systems
