Job Summary
This role involves working within one of Germany's largest waste incineration plants, the GMVA Niederrhein, providing essential chemical analysis and laboratory support. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the daily sampling and analysis of process water and solids within the onsite laboratory. Your routine will include preparing chemical solutions for plant dosing, maintaining and cleaning dosing and measuring equipment, and meticulously documenting all results according to strict guidelines. You will also operate industrial trucks as needed and provide chemical expertise to the production and logistics departments. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training in the field of Chemistry (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Assistant or equivalent).
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical laboratory environments
- Prior experience in sampling and analysis of process waters and solids
- Practical experience operating ICP and AAS analytical equipment
- Experience in operating industrial trucks (forklifts)
- Experience with chemical dosing and measurement systems
