Job Summary
This role involves working at one of Germany's largest waste incineration plants, the GMVA Niederrhein, providing essential laboratory support for environmental and waste treatment operations. As a Laboratory Technician, your daily responsibilities will include sampling and analyzing process water and solids, preparing chemical solutions for dosing systems, and maintaining measuring equipment. You will be responsible for documenting all analytical results in accordance with strict guidelines and supporting the production and logistics departments with chemical expertise. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training in the field of Chemistry (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Assistant or equivalent).
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical laboratory analysis and sampling
- Practical experience operating ICP and AAS analytical equipment
- Experience in handling and dosing chemicals within an industrial environment
- Experience operating industrial trucks/forklifts
- Proven track record of independent work and high responsibility
