Job Summary
The District of Wolfenbüttel is seeking a School IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain the digital infrastructure across local schools and educational centers. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, updates, and support of specialized educational systems such as ISERV, Relution, and Untis. Your tasks will include the deployment of software packages and mobile applications, as well as the installation and decommissioning of hardware including PCs, notebooks, and iPads. Providing essential first and second-level support for pedagogical staff is a core component of the position. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys technical troubleshooting and automation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or an equivalent qualification.
Experience
- At least 1 year of professional experience in IT systems administration or a related field
- Professional experience in hardware installation, commissioning, and maintenance
- Experience in providing technical support for end-users (First and Second Level)
- Experience in scripting for the automation of recurring tasks
