Job Summary

This role involves supporting the installation, assembly, and commissioning of internal and external railway facilities, specifically focusing on interlocking technologies and train control systems. As a Commissioning Technician, you will be responsible for measuring, functional testing, and final inspection of outdoor elements in connection with indoor modules. Your daily tasks include performing voltage tests on power supply systems, installing software on module components, and setting up control and operating systems. A significant part of the role involves troubleshooting technical faults, documenting work progress, and providing on-site technical support to customers. This position is particularly attractive for those who enjoy field work and want to work with cutting-edge railway technology like ESTW, DSTW, or ETCS. The role offers a 12-month contract with an option for extension, providing a stable yet dynamic environment for technical professionals in the railway sector.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training such as Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, IT Systems Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in commissioning, assembly, or service of technical systems
  • Experience in the field of control and safety technology (LST), railway technology, or signaling technology is highly preferred
  • Experience in handling indoor and outdoor interlocking facilities and train control systems
  • Experience with technical documentation and testing tools
  • Experience working on construction sites and in field service environments

Additional

  • Willingness to travel nationwide for field service and work on rotating construction sites is required. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with an option for extension.
